The City of Grand Haven is the central hub of the city. The famous boardwalk, Harbor Dr, Grand Haven State Park, and Downtown Main St make up the neighborhood.

The homes you’ll find in the neighborhood have a coastal feel, and you’ll also find plenty of Airbnbs and rentals for out-of-town visitors.

The Centertown neighborhood of Grand Haven is the gem that’s right off the main drag, yet hidden from the crowds. It offers a fantastic lifestyle for locals to enjoy all that the city has to offer and still feel some privacy from the crowds in the summer.

The local businesses you’ll find here are passionate about their trade. JW’s Wine and Spirits is an eclectic wine shop with wines from all over the world; The Bookman is an expansive bookstore with anything you could think of, and Morning Star Cafe is a quaint neighborhood diner with a cozy feel.

Northwest Historic District

From Jackson St to Columbus St to First St to Fifth St

This is directly North of the Downtown district and is full of intriguing historic homes. The neighborhood served as housing for the city’s early industrial, railroad, and shipping workers due to its immediate proximity to the Grand River waterfront and the south channel.

Loutit District Library is one of the main local spots you’ll find in the neighborhood.

Grand Haven Township
